Do you want to improve your relationship with your partner? Or perhaps you want to find the perfect partner? Then you need to get on the right track. To do that – to succeed – you need to get some insights. Those insights direct you into what to do and how to do it.
One way to get insights is to take a few minutes to reflect on what you want. Then write it in your journal. If you want to speed up the process, here is another trick.
Try de-cluttering your wardrobe.
This is a great way to focus on new beginnings in your life. One writer, a recently divorced 60 year old woman, had her wardrobes jam packed with her old clothes. Through her writing, the idea came to her that she needed to clean out her wardrobe. She was amazed at how cathartic it was to toss out her old clothes. This exercise helped her focus on what she wanted and how to get it. After she cleaned out her closet, she spent 10 minutes writing about how she felt now. She wrote about how much lighter, and less burdened she felt. She talked about opening up some ‘space in her life.’ She felt that the act of de-cluttering was almost like a ceremony celebrating her willingness to open up to new opportunities in her life.
She was even more amazed at how quickly she found Mr Right. She described it as though she ‘made room for him in her home, and her life. And there he was!’ This sounds a bit spooky, but your Wise Self can ask you to do some things that at the time don’t make much sense. It is all about trusting those insights.
